Janelle Monáe & Erykah Badu Get Down In 'Q.U.E.E.N.'

Janelle Monáe is currently the reigning "Q.U.E.E.N." of genuine artistry, and it is evident in the visual for her latest single. Featuring a very brief appearance by friend and fellow female phenom Erykah Badu, "Q.U.E.E.N." takes us on a tour of an imaginary living museum that displays the rebel members of Monáe's Wondaland Arts Society. If nothing else, this clean visual shines light on the beauty of the CoverGirl representative as she parades around the room in the finest black and white attire. And then there's the moment when Badu repeatedly chants "the booty don't lie," as Monáe twerks herself into a funky frenzy. Although we expected a bit more out of a song from this set of "wondertwins," as they affectionately refer to each other, this video takes the collaboration to another level. "Q.U.E.E.N." serves as the first single off of Monáe's forthcoming album, Electric Lady, which is set to be released later this year.
