After an electrifying performance at the Billboard Music Awards this past Sunday, I'm sure that I'm not the only one anticipating what Prince and his band 3RDEYEGIRL are cooking up for their upcoming album. As with most things concerning the Purple One, however, details about the new project are scarce. Luckily, he has blessed us with a new video for "Fixurlifeup" while we wait for news. Just as with Sunday's performance, the Sanaa Hamri-directed clip features Prince (in all his natural hair glory) and the girls performing as the lyrics to the song are projected on the screen. Unlike the performance, though, we also get photographs and clips throughout the video to further drive home the song's message. It's a great clip for those who happened to miss his recent spate of shows on the West Coast and enough to tide us over 'til more word comes about the new album. Get into Prince channeling his inner Iyanla Vanzant.
