Kelly Rowland & Pharrell Put Their 'Feet To The Fire'

By now, most of those interested in checking out Kelly Rowland's latest effort, Talk a Good Game, have already picked up a copy of the album. Those who purchased the album's Target exclusive deluxe edition got an extra treat: two additional tracks on top of the three additional ones that the standard deluxe edition offered. "Feet to the Fire," a Pharrell-produced and assisted track that finds the producing mastermind once again in fine form, is one of those tracks. Unlike most bonus tracks, this one is actually pretty solid. Amid the mellow bump of the song's groove, Kelly paints a picture of a lover trying to get that old thing back after leaving her high and dry five years ago. However, like her former bandmate Beyoncé, Kelly's a grown (and cussin') woman and she's holding him accountable for his wrongs. Backing her up in her read is Pharrell, whose verse is bit of a throwaway, though his trademark falsetto adds some needed texture to the backing vocals and ad libs. If you didn't happen to grab your copy of Kelly's latest from Targét, you can take a listen to "Feet to the Fire" below.
