Is it just me or is palatable pop music becoming more prevalent? If the original Sugababes, Mutya Keisha Siobhan whose work with Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) that we filled you in on a few months back, have anything to say about it then the answer is a loud YES. The girls are back with "Flatline," their first official single as Mutya Keisha Siobhan. The upbeat Dev Hynes-produced track sees their dulcet vocals over an intoxicating rhythm that draws the listener in as it builds to a catchy chorus. While the song may be about the dreary subject of love that's on the way out, the vibrant landscape painted by Mutya Keisha Siobhan and Dev Hynes on "Flatline" is the opposite of its bleak topic. This is pure pop with soul in all the right places.
