Months after the release of A Love Surreal, Bilal is breathing new life into the beautiful Robert Glasper-assisted ballad "Butterfly" with this new visual. With band members, friends and fans in tow, he's giving us all a glimpse into his life on the road as he goes from performing to sightseeing, giving radio interviews and showing backstage moments. While drummer and frequent collaborator Steve McKie makes an appearance, the only thing missing from this moment is Glasper. Directed by Brian Luvar, this clip in all of its black, white and slow motion glory, perfectly matches the haunting pace of the song itself. "The struggle makes you beautiful," he bellows, as the camera pans across an awestruck audience. "Butterfly" serves as the third single from Bilal's critically acclaimed third studio album A Love Surreal, following up "Back To Love" and "West Side Girl."
