Jazz-tinged soul seems to be on the rise, with the likes of Esperanza Spalding, Robert Glasper, Gregory Porter and José James all gaining a level of mainstream recognition that had thus far eluded them. One act who might be able to jump onboard that bandwagon are LA-based trio Moonchild whose 2012 debut Be Free not only brought them to the attention of the blogosphere but also fellow artists such as Glasper, Jill Scott and 9th Wonder. We are patiently awaiting a follow-up to Be Free, but we may just have a taste of it right here, as Moonchild have released an appropriately titled new single "All The Joy."
