You Can 'Count' On A 'Jam' With A Double Dose Of Azealia Banks

If you were still waiting on Azealia Banks' major label debut Broke With Expensive Taste, you'll still be waiting when the new year comes (the album's been pushed back to sometime next year). However, that didn't stop Azealia from announcing that the follow up to her Fantasea mixtape, Fantasea II: The Second Wave, would be arriving in...July 2014. Long waits aside, we at least have two new tracks from the perpetual beef starter to hold us over until we can get our hands on her projects. First up is Fantasea II's first single "Count Contessa." The hip house workout finds the femcee continuing the sound found on Fantasea as she spits over Lone's "Aquamarine" from his 2011 set Emerald Fantasy Tracks. It's a hot track, surely enough to have us ready for the set to drop sooner than next summer. The second dose of Ms. Banks we're getting is housed up remix of her Pharrell-produced and featuring banger "ATM Jam." The retooling comes courtesy of one of our favorite remixers Kaytranada, and he makes the fiery song even hotter by warping it back a decade with a decidedly '90s-leaning soundbed that is sure to get bootys moving on dance floors. While you hold your breath waiting on Azealia to get around to actually releasing a project, stream "Count Contessa" below and hit the bounce to listen to Kaytranada's take on "ATM Jam" and grab a free download.
