Daniel Crawford Gives Us His Take On A Classic 'Summer'

Piano man Daniel Crawford is busy readying Side Effects, a mixtape featuring his jazzed up takes on some of his favorite tracks. And, judging by the first taste he's giving us from the project, it's definitely gonna be full of our favorites as well. Taking on The Isley Brothers classic "Summer Breeze," Daniel does something that is fairly remarkable: He makes a cover that almost rivals the original without the aid of any vocals whatsoever. But what his take lacks in vocals, he more than makes up for with his soulful playing and transcendent skills as an arranger and producer. Side Effects will be available as a free download this coming Tuesday, so be sure to keep an eye out for what's sure to be a can't miss project. In the meantime, though we're getting well into fall, you can still feel a warm "Summer Breeze" when you press play below.
