Dudley Perkins Fills Your 'Prescription'

Dudley Perkins is prepared to unleash some funk just in time for the holidays. With the help of his lady and frequent collaborator Georgia Anne Muldrow along with Kankick and Madlib, Perkins is presenting his first solo album in four years, and it is appropriately entitled Dr. Stokley. With tracks like "Foot Surgery," "Lung Specialist" and "Doctor's Orders," he manages to stay in tune with the concept of the album while addressing the rap game and its need for a facelift. "The Prescription," produced by Muldrow, finds Perkins spitting possibly the best rhymes on the album over a beat filled with that classic California G-funk flavor. "I'm writing you a letter. Better yet, I'll put it in a book on life and how most of you ain't living it right," he raps. Get your proper dosage of Dudley Perkins' Dr. Stokley album via Bandcamp or iTunes now.
