Star Slinger's New Year's Eve DJ set is fast approaching and he continues on with his series of edits to get folks ready. Having already paid tribute to divas Anita Baker and Erykah Badu, the next diva in line for the Star Slinger treatment is the Queen of Cool Sade. Appropriately choosing the chanteuse's career-making hit "Smooth Operator," Star Slinger melts a bit of the original's iciness with a kinetic drum beat and vocal chops, turning it from a simmering lounge staple to a dance floor party starter. While the DJ/producer might be a smooth operator himself, luckily for you, his love isn't for sale. "III/IV," like the previous installments in this series, is available as a free download.
