Ashanti's 'Got It,' But Do We Want It?

Ashanti Got It Still

Ashanti's been threatening to release her album Braveheart for the better part of two years, but it finally seems like she's ready to make good. After lining up a release date, she released new lead single "I Got It" and now she's delivered the visuals to go along with the track. Originally featuring Future (you can still hear the rapper/pseudo-singer's ad-libs in the new version), the track now features husky rap impresario Rick Ross in his place. The video finds Ashanti rough and ready, rocking short hair and barely there outfits as she flaunts a newfound sexuality and cozies up to Rozay. The track itself is OK (meaning I wouldn't necessarily turn it off if it came on the radio, but I wouldn't turn it up, either) and the visuals do little to uplift it. But for Ashanti fans anticipating some new new from the "Good Good" singer, I'm sure it will suffice. Check out the video and, if you're so inclined, be on the lookout for Braveheart when it drops on March 4th.
