I feel like I've been living in the dark and have only just seen the light. The reason for this is because I've only just come across Kaleem Taylor. Please allow me to enlighten you SoulBouncers. This singer embodies that type of sensual, masculine voice that makes you melt, on the spot, regardless of what you may be preoccupied with. The UK singer, who is influenced by Nat King Cole, Tank and Lauryn Hill, has been described as a male version of Banks crossed with Frank Ocean. It's a pretty spot on comparison, although there’s something much more mature about Taylor’s sound. He has just placed two tracks on SoundCloud for our aural pleasure; the bass heavy bedroom number “Love Me Back” and the subtly seductive “90’s,” which are both part of the project, From Me To You. After one listen I know I want more of what Kaleem has bestowed upon us, and I’m sure you will, too.
