For the last track in his 10-week Mash-Up Mondays series, Big Boi and DJ Dunegoneze blend Big Boi's "Mama Told Me" featuring Kelly Rowland and Little Dragon’s with Paul McCartney and Wings' "Mrs. Vandebilt." Each week Big Boi has been mixing an a cappella version of a Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors song with an original track from an artist that moves him. This song has some great elements at play and successfully provides an anachronistic vibe that leans more to the past than present but still gives us something fresh.
Not only do you get a new song but a new video, too. Big Boi's in-house team -- Johnny Woods (animator), Kenny Keil (illustrator) and Trevor Kane (creative admiral) -- creates a video to accompany his weekly concoctions. This week's accompanying video is out of this world, literally, with colorful 3-D scenes of an alien visit.
