Sebastian Mikael — perhaps best known for his Al B. Sure!-sampling, Wale-featuring “Last Night” — is diversifying his musical portfolio with “Made for Me.” The acoustic track features the Swedish-born crooner teaming with Teyana Taylor, who seems to be returning to active singing duty.

“Made for Me” is a mid-tempo, urban guitar jam in the vein of Chris Brown’s “With You,” Rihanna’s “Good Girl Gone Bad” and Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable.” Within the song, Mikael quite longingly pines for his woman, who’s not the settle-down type but he's convinced is “the only one that’s made for me.” Teyana’s verse seems to validate this stance, pledging devotion to her beau, but still adding sass and a staunch view that statuses won’t be changing anytime soon. Yet while outsiders may pass judgment, the two singers seem to take pride in the fact that others can’t begin to understand their connection — or that they belong together. And what helps make that claim true is the summery smooth, airy flow in the background, where the strong emotions of the two get placed front and center.

"Made For Me" may be found on Mikael's recently released mixtape "Waiting Game," available for free download now.
