We've had our eyes and, more importantly, our ears on Harleighblu since she first came to our attention last year via her music video for the single "Enough Now." Since that time the British belter has released her debut album, Forget Me Not, as well as additional singles and videos, the newest of which we are proud to exclusively world premiere today on SoulBounce.
Harleighblu brings us the visuals for "Sittin' By the Window," and although she starts the video off literally doing just that, as soon as her vocals kick in she's up on her feet and seen in different locations singing. Director Paris Seawell plays with focus and uses quick cuts between scenes of the singer in a room and in a building, a DJ on the turntables and black and white live performance footage. With her sandy blonde locs flowing, Harleighblu sings on the hip-hop infused Joe Buhdha production and encourages everyone within earshot to get up, get out and get something instead of just idly sitting by the window and watching life pass by.
Look out for the digital release "Sittin' By the Window" on July 7th on Tru Thoughts, which will include numerous remixes, edits and even the instrumental and a cappella tracks in case anyone wanted to take the song and put their own spin on it.
