Gay Pride is in full swing in cities across the U.S., so it seems appropriate that big-voiced divas would release new dance floor-fillers for the festivities. Queue Martha Wash, whose credited and non-credited catalog includes such iconic numbers as the Weather Girls“It’s Raining Men,” C+C Music Factory’s “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now),” Seduction’s “(You’re My One and Only) True Love,” the Todd Terry and Jocelyn Brown collaboration “Keep on Jumpin’,” and most of the big hits from Black Box’s Dreamland.

Wash is adding to that collection with her new video for “I’m Not Coming Down.” The minimalist clip boasts a remix crafted by Tony Moran, a big name in dance music. As one of the genre’s best-known remixers, Moran’s take on “I’m Not Coming Down” has all the feel-good energy one would need in an anthem and more than enough uplifting lyrics to improve the mood of the most despondent soul. While Martha sings, she’s shadowed by a trio of shirtless male dancers — far fewer than the guy candy that catered to her needs in the video for club staple “Give It To You,” but still enough to please the fans and contribute to raising your spirit.
