Snakehips Spends 'Days With You' & Sinead Harnett

Being that summer officially started this past weekend, contenders for the coveted "Song of the Summer" title are cropping up like gangbusters. While many mainstream artists have already tossed their tracks in the ring, mysterious UK duo Snakehips, best known for their remixes of songs by the likes of Banks and The Weeknd, drop their subtle contender "Days With You." Featuring songstress Sinead Harnett, "Days With You" is a smooth tune crafted to cruise along the highway, with Sinead's soft voice drifting along with production reminiscent of the mid-'90s R&B we all know and love. And though musically there's definitely a feel-good vibe going on here, lyrically, Sinead is kissing off a lover who's done her wrong, letting him know that she's better off without him. Perhaps her newfound freedom is why the song feels so easy and breezy.

"Days With You" is available for purchase in the UK now. Those of us in the States, however, have to wait until August to get our hands on the single, which is available for pre-order right now on iTunes. That's OK, though, as you can listen to your heart's content right here.
