Summer is the season for outdoor concerts, and one of the most popular venues in the US to catch a show outdoors in the sunshine or under the stars in Detroit's Chene Park Amphitheatre. Chene Park has been popping this summer with a multitude of live soul, R&B and jazz acts taking the stage these past couple months with more on tap in the next few weeks. This Friday, August 1st will see Chene Park play host to a triple threat of soul singers with American Idol winner Fantasia, newcomer George Tandy, Jr. and the latest R&B Divas: LA cast member Leela James on deck.
