Becky Hill Is Winning With 'Losing'

Ever since competing in the first season of The Voice UK, singer-songwriter Becky Hill's career has been on an upward trajectory. After being handpicked by coach Jessie J., Hill has gone on to lend her vocal and songwriting talents to Rudimental's "Powerless," Oliver Heldens' chart topping dance tune "Gecko (Overdrive)" and Bondax's "All I See." Now she reteams with frequent collaborator and SB fave MNEK for her own chance in the spotlight, "Losing."

As with all-things MNEK, the song is a fun, thumping jaunt that drips with '80s electro-soul and is sure to inspire more than a few late night grooves. For her part, Hill delivers strong vocals that may initially draw some comparisons to fellow Brit powerhouse Adele. However by the song's end, those comparisons easily fall by the wayside as Hill effortlessly creates her own lane with this mid-tempo groove. Though the single won't be available for purchase until November, you can take it for a spin now courtesy of Hill's SoundCloud page.
