After releasing two live CDs in less than a year (2013's Live in Johannesburg and Live at the Bitter End: Remembering Donny Hathaway), it's safe to say that new music from Frank McComb is long overdue. The wait just got a bit shorter with the release of his latest single, "Soulmate." The single, which premiered last week, is slated for official release on October 14th. The song finds McComb mentally musing about the reasons that he wants to make a certain lady his partner for life. McComb's silky vocals coupled with the song's soulfully mellow vibe make it an offer than would be hard for anybody to refuse.
"Soulmate" is the first release since the singer inked a deal with Top Notch Promotions. In between his busy touring schedule, he is said to be hard at work on a follow-up studio recording, which should be music to the ears of his loyal fans.
