Last week, Herbie Hancock released his memoir Possibilities. The book chronicles the jazz legend's life and 50-year career in music, from being a child prodigy to joining Miles Davis' second quintet and all the way to his most recent musical successes. During that journey, Herbie also racked up an impressive 14 GRAMMY Awards. So it's only fitting that he'll be sitting down with GRAMMY U next Tuesday for a special edition of their Off The Record series.

Herbie will sit down for the two-hour talk with one of the keepers of his flame, Flying Lotus, to discuss his life and times at the Recording Academy in Santa Monica. But since this is something that everyone interested in modern music should be interested in — Herbie's been integral in almost every music movement since the 1960s, after all — GRAMMY U will be livestreaming the entire talk via a Google+ Hangout.

So if you're a fan of Mr. Hancock, or just a music lover in general, be sure to tune in to the talk next Tuesday, November 4th at at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.
