Mary J. Blige is getting every bit of pre-release promo she can in advance of The London Sessions hitting the streets next month in the UK and in December in the US. While MJB has our undivided attention, she's dropped a new set of visuals for the song "Therapy" with the track's lyric video.
Fresh from releasing not one but two music videos for "Right Now," Blige falls back for "Therapy," with only a photograph of her appearing here. In the black-and-white clip, the profile shot of the singer standing at a studio microphone fades to black then dissolves into a Rorschach test inkblot and other shapes while the lyrics swirl around.
As far as lyric videos go, it's cool to watch while you sing along with Mary and songwriter Sam Smith who also holds down the backgrounds. We're sure this isn't the last piece of film we'll see from MJB's The London Sessions, so watch this and get the lyrics down pat until she surprises us with something else.
