While we at SoulBounce may not have been too blown away by Nicole Scherzinger's recent solo efforts, the former lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls may have redeemed herself with "Run." The latest single from her soon-to-be-released album, Big Fat Lie, "Run" is a stripped back and raw piano-driven ballad that sees Scherzinger baring her soul and passing on words of wisdom.

After taking us down the Auto-Tune path on "On the Rocks," this down-tempo number sees Scherzinger's vocals front and center, as she warns the new lady in her former lover's life of what she's in for -- and it's not going to be pretty. But what is pretty is Scherzinger's vocals on "Run," which range from breathy and delicate to powerful in the Felix Snow-produced song. Let's hope Scherzinger's Big Fat Lie highlights more of this side to the pop vocalist, but we'll have to wait until October 20th to find out.
