In a music industry that often glorifies things that are often far from Godliness, it's rare to find an artist who can bridge that gap and make it look and sound cool. Enter Mali Music. After releasing his major label debut album Mali Is... earlier this summer, the gospel/R&B artist has shown us that no matter your belief, you really have no choice but to praise good music. Mali has been performing at his sold out shows down the East Coast the past few weeks, and we caught up with him when he made his stop at the packed Howard Theatre in Washington, DC.

During the interview Mali talked about his inspiration when writing music (in the shower), his celebrity crush and exclusive details on a new musical about Black Jesus called Revival!
