K. Michelle has been promoting the hell out of her sophomore set Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart, which is a few weeks away from its December 9th release, although word on the curb is that the album has already leaked. That's bad news for K. and her label, but good news for fans who can't wait to get their hands on her latest by any means necessary.
One of the leaks from the project is the title track that showcases some bars from rapper Meek Mill who himself is behind bars right now. Mill is the main attraction on this song that features him for the first 1:30 of the track and on the hook, and, given its overall short length, sounds more like an interlude. That may very well be the case since this song actually isn't even listed on the album's tracklist. Nonetheless, once Meek finally does relinquish the mic and pass it to K. Michelle, she has a little verse of her own to share.
She's not exactly spitting hot fire, but K. wearily laments about love, life and how real it's gotten before breaking out into song. “Anybody wanna buy a heart of a girl who just can’t cry?” she belts. It sounds to us like Ms. Michelle is once again putting it all out there -- flaws and all -- for the world to hear on this new collection of songs, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
