If you are anything like me (meaning you avoid the radio like the plague), then there's a solid chance that you spent a large portion of the 2014 American Music Awards scratching your head and wondering what rock you've been living under during most of the performances. One in particular was the Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea collabo, "Booty." When a Latina who is known for her assets gets together with a white girl who is just as well known for hers to make a song about said assets, the resulting performance is just about what you would expect it to be -- all about the booty.
As the two ladies closed out the night's festivities, they writhed and slithered their way across the stage decked out in heavy makeup, leotards, patterned lights and those oh-so-infamous derrieres, sticking pretty closely to the scenario presented in the single's video. The song itself is nothing to write home about, with J.Lo remaining a woman who dances better than she sings and Iggy remaining well...Iggy. As with any J.Lo performance, the dancing diva brought her best moves to show that she still has it when it comes to choreography. While the slinky performance did little to change sway me over to their side, I'm sure that J.Lo and Iggy set was the highlight of the night for many adoring fans.
