It's been a minute since we last checked in with South African house music collective Lemon & Herb. The trio of producers/DJs, including Don Sithole, Skhumbuzo Radebe and Thansanqa Ntintili, who have tackled everything from jazz to gospel are still in fine form and recently released their take on "When the Heartache is Over" by the iconic Tina Turner.

The 1999 song was an international pop/dance hit for the Queen of Rock and Roll, so it's a natural fit for a deep house makeover. Altering the sound to make Ms. Turner's vocals sound even deeper works well as a commanding, soulful contrast to the electronic pulse and synth-filled rhythms. Although Tina has been leaning to more spiritual works as of late, it’s fun to hear this updated version of one of her hits. Enjoy the free download via SoundCloud and get ready to dance 'til you sweat. When you're ready to sweat some more, check out their latest mixtape, Comatosis, also available for free download.
