If 2015 is anything like 2014, then blasts from R&B's past are going to make a major impact once again. Poised to stage one of the first comebacks of the year is none other than Case who is coming up on the 20th anniversary of his debut album next year. While he preps for that milestone, he's also prepping for the release of his sixth studio album this spring.

The title of this new collection is Heaven's Door, and from the looks of the music video for lead single "Shook Up," Case is giving fans an intimate journey into real-life love and loss. In the visuals we see the crooner sharing happy times with his beautiful lady, but we soon realize that these events aren't happening in real time. It turns out that Case is alone watching old home movies and reminiscing about his love who's gone away. As the video progresses, it becomes clear that this love is gone for good, however, which gives a deeper meaning to the innocent love song.

Although "Shook Up" doesn't mark any new territory for Case, both the song and video are a good look for the singer. Unlike many of his contemporaries whose voices and looks have degraded over the years, Case still has everything in tact. It will be interesting to hear what else he has in store on Heaven's Door and what, if any, risks he takes with his sound and style. Get ready to find out when the new Case album drops on March 31st.
