London singer Sinead Harnett, who has been knocking our socks off with collaborations with Snakehips and her own solo material for the past year, is gearing up to bring us her debut solo album. In that spirit, she recently dropped her new single "Anywhere But Here," and it's a perfect example of why she's a singer you should be keeping an eye on.

Unlike lead single "She Ain't Me," "Anywhere But Here" is a mid-tempo slow burner that finds Sinead contemplating her relationship with a lover who seems to be going through the motions. While the cold has her feeling frozen out, she's still fighting to hold on to what they have, but she's starting to keep an eye on the door. "If I ever stop loving you / And break a-loose / From the bottom of your heart," she sings on the chorus. "If I could only stop loving you, my dear / You can watch me disappear / Anywhere but here." Underscoring Sinead's near-flawless vocal delivery is a soundbed thick with dark, moody synths, a heavy bass backbone and sparse percussion consisting of mostly a kick drum, sampled snaps and snare.

Sinead hasn't announced a title or release date for her upcoming album, but we're sure that news on that will be coming sooner rather than later. While we wait, dig into "Anywhere But Here" right here and right now.
