Armed with a guitar and a smokin' pair of stilettos, Tori Kelly made her Billboard Music Awards debut last night with an acoustic performance of her hit song "Nobody Love." Planted firmly in the spotlight, her stunning vocals showed the world why she was Kia Motors' "One to Watch" for the evening.

Tori slowed things down at the onset, transforming the tune into a stirring ballad. But before you could get too caught up in your feels, she revved up her guitar and hit the ground running, returning to the original tempo for a shortened version of the popular song. Alternating between restraint and full power, she showcased the breadth of her range with a bit of rasp and sass to boot. A few might argue that some spots weren't pitch perfect. But in an evening that was full of stage antics and struggle vocals, Acoustic Tori was certainly a welcome reprieve.

It's been a long road, but the former America's Most Talented Kids finalist and YouTube darling is finally getting her due. Backed by legendary label Capitol Records (home of SoulBounce faves like Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith, Emeli Sandé and Allen Stone), the young singer will spend the next few months promoting her album with the Where I Belong Tour. Tori and crew will hit the road on May 26th, traveling from Cali all the way to the UK, so be sure to check the website for details and updates. Tori Kelly's debut album Unbreakable Smile will be released to the masses on June 23rd, but it's currently available for pre-order on iTunes and Amazon with immediate downloads of the title track, "Nobody Love" and "Should've Been Us."
