The electronic music/production duo Disclosure took the world by storm in 2012 with their single "Latch" that not only put themselves on but Sam Smith, too. The track went on to become an international hit and pave the way for their debut album, Settle, in 2013 to also blow up. The Lawrence brothers are hoping that lightning strikes twice when their sophomore album entitled Caracal is released on September 25th.

Named after a medium-sized wild cat, pictured on the cover, native to Africa and parts of Asia, the name Caracal may sound like an interesting title choice, but it's an animal that Howard Lawrence took a liking to while Disclosure toured the world and they felt it was a great tie-in with their Wild Life brand. They can call the album whatever they want because we'll definitely be scooping it up after hearing the tracks "Bang That" (which isn't supposed to be on the album, but we're crossing our fingers) and the official first single "Holding On" featuring the force of nature that is soul jazz master Gregory Porter.

In addition to Porter, Disclosure has a few other guest artists on Caracal including SoulBounce faves Lion Babe and Kwabs, both of whom joined the Lawrence bros on stage at the Parklife Festival this past weekend in Manchester, England. The babe herself Jillian Hervey was on hand to debut their song "Hourglass" and Kwabs sang the collaboration "Super Ego." Fan video, which you can view below, of the performances doesn't have the greatest audio quality, but from what we've heard, the studio versions will more than likely slay.

Although September 25th does seem far, far away -- and we're in no rush for the remaining days of spring and the heady days of summer to end -- we suspect this album will heat the colder months ahead up just fine. Stay tuned for additional information about Caracal as its secrets are revealed and more fire from Disclosure in the coming days.
