Sevyn Streeter Thinks Her Ex 'Shoulda Been There' But B.o.B's Happy He Wasn't

Sevyn-Streeter-Shoulda

Sevyn Streeter is getting a few things off her chest in her lyric video for "Shoulda Been There." The single featuring rapper and significant other Bobby Ray aka B.o.B is the title track to her upcoming project to be released at the end of the week. Ahead of its release, Sevyn dropped the R&B ditty, where she reminds her past boo that if he was so jealous or bothered, he probably should've been there. As evidenced in the video, clearly B.o.B has no issues being there for the songstress. Directed and edited by JR Strickland, we catch scenes of Sevyn partying with friends and galavanting with B.o.B, mixed with Facebook statuses and Instagram posts. Sure, we could say they did it for the 'gram, but they also did it for the video when we watch Sevyn riding on B.o.B's back or cooing to the rapper as she warms up for a show.

The chemistry between the couple is so palpable it reinforces the song's message to an ex that "this could've been us." The video ends Snapchat style with the lovebirds on a helicopter excursion and all is well with the young couple. Despite loving on her bae, Sevyn is set to release her new project SHOULDA BEEN THERE PT 1 on July 17th, and we guess it's pretty serious since it's in all caps. The singer claims she wanted to purge before her next album, so you can expect that she's airing some of her laundry, clean and dirty, on the new project and we can't wait to hear it. Until then, learn the lyrics to Sevyn's new track "Shoulda Been There," and let us know if it's your new breakup anthem.
