Just the name Hi-Five can send a whirlwind of memories through the minds of '90s R&B lovers. It can makes us reminisce about the days of feel good R&B, when there was a focus on love for love's sake and group harmonies from trios, quartets and quintets of vocalists singing straight ahead R&B. Well, the good news is that type of music is alive and well with Hi-Five's latest, "Sunshine."

"Sunshine" was produced by Andre Ramseur and written by Hi-Five member, Faruq Evans. "This song is about my love for my daughter. I never thought I'd have a lil girl, but when she was born she stole my heart," says Faruq. "She's the air I breathe. My sunshine!," he adds.  That positive vibe emanates through the song, coaxing you to hop out of your seat at work and do some of your own choreographed '90s-style dance moves.

While not as impactful as their biggest hit to date, "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)," "Sunshine" does give lovers of '90s R&B a refreshing treat for the ears to take them back to the good old days of H-Town, Shai and, of course, Hi-Five in their prime. Take a step back into the glory days and listen to "Sunshine" right here then pick it up on iTunes. "Sunshine" is scheduled to appear on Hi-Five's upcoming new album scheduled to be released in early 2016.
