Berklee College of Music professor and master drummer Terri Lyne Carrington recently dropped her album The Mosaic Project: LOVE and SOUL this summer, so it was only right that the visuals would follow. Carrington teamed up with Ledisi on the single "Get To Know You" and just delivered a black and white-filtered video to go with the soulful track. Beginning with a phone conversation between the two, the scene sets us up for a trip to Carrington's hometown of Boston, where the duo meet up to perform for the Berklee Beantown Festival, which was held back in September. The song, with elements of jazz and Ledisi's effortless powerhouse vocals, is accompanied by scenes of the songstress learning music and Carrington rehearing alongside faculty and students at Berklee College of Music, the festival's organizer. The two musicians finally meet up for dinner, to get to know each other maybe, and at the end of the video they finally unite on stage.

Compared to the first Mosaic Project album, Carrington's second effort has more contemporary R&B and less jazz and features contributions from about 40 women, one of which is Ledisi. The long-time drummer and producer also collaborated with Chaka Khan, Jaguar Wright, Lalah Hathaway and more. If you're loving what you're hearing in "Get To Know You," you can get to know Carrington a little more when you purchase her album The Mosaic Project: LOVE and SOUL over on Amazon or iTunes. Until then, watch Carrington and Ledisi's video for "Get To Know You" right here.
