If it's drama you're looking for, you can find it in the new mini-trailer for the upcoming Lifetime biopic, Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart. The just-released clip gives us a glimpse of what we can expect in the movie about Toni Braxton's life and times, and we have to admit, it doesn't look half bad. The movie, starring actress Lex Scott-Davis as Toni, will feature many of the singer's GRAMMY-winning hits, but the trailer is appropriately backed by her single "Unbreak My Heart." When you press play on the trailer, you're met with quick scenes of Toni being shuttled into the hospital, doing photoshoots, playing the piano and, of course, performing in front of her fans. The 20-second preview leaves a lot to our imagination, and we can't tell if any of these antics are supported by good acting, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Based on her book Unbreak My Heart: A Memoir, the movie will detail Toni's financial issues, divorce, battle with Lupus and more.
