Keith Sweat Wants To Share His 'Good Love' With You

Keith Sweat might not be the radio staple now that he was in the '90s, but that doesn't mean that the R&B loverman hasn't been busy as of late. He's been constantly touring the country spreading nostalgia and getting women in a frenzy with his back catalog of hits as well as hosting his own syndicated radio show The Sweat Hotel, which you can stream on iHeartRadio. But if you were wondering if Keith still has his musical magic touch, the "Make It Last Forever" singer has just what you're looking for with the release of his newest single "Good Love."

"Good Love" is exactly what you'd expect from Keith: a romantic number aimed at seducing the fairer sex. But rather than seal the deal with a slow jam, Keith takes a different approach with this midtempo cut. Led by guitar, piano and just a hint of strings, he offers his lady his loving over laid-back drums, letting her know he'll be "holdin', squeezin', lovin', teasin'" her all day and all night. Aiming this at the "grown and sexy" demographic is a smart move for Keith, as they are his main bread and butter. As well, the subdued groove and lovey-dovey lyrics probably won't appeal to anyone 25 and under. However, while most things are hitting all the right notes here, there does seem to be something just a tad off with Keith's vocal (though perhaps what we're hearing is just a tad too much Auto-Tune  in the mix).

"Good Love" is the first new music we're hearing from Keith in a while, but it won't be the last. Mr. Sweat says that he plans to release more music and a new album this year. While we wait to hear when exactly we can expect this new output, give "Good Love" a spin right here.
