Fresh from debuting the music video for the single "I Do" earlier this week, Musiq Soulchild hits us with double whammy to end it and drops a new song. Right in time for your weekend playlists, the single "Heart Away" is a med-tempo groove for all those who like Musiq's music with a little more knock to two-step to. And while you're dancing your cares away, Musiq has a message for you.

Continuing with his timeless themes of love and relationships, Soulchild sings a cautionary tune to guard your heart while you play this game called love. Over Auto-Tuned harmonies, synths, twinkling keys and programmed drums, "Heart Away" encourages the listener to take their time and get off of Team Bad Decisions. "Only fools go rush in / Hopelessly for nothing / Then get mad when everything falls apart," Pastor Soulchild preaches to all those who need to hear this word and get their love life right.

"Heart Away" is the second single to be lifted from Musiq Soulchild's upcoming album Life On Earth, which drops on April 15th and is executive produced by Warryn Campbell. If Musiq has more jams like this and "I Do" on Life On Earth, then he's gonna get all of our tax refund. (Or, you can just go ahead and pre-order the album from Amazon or iTunes.) In the meantime, dust off your old school dances (stretch first if you need to) and get ready to get your groove on and in when you press play.
