Mariah Carey doing reality television? Who wouldn't want to see that? Well thanks to the folks at E!, who've built a reality TV dynasty thanks to the Kardashians, our wish comes true as they're set to present a special eight-part reality series event featuring the diva as she prepares for her European tour and her upcoming nuptials to Australian billionaire James Packer. Now, ahead of the series' premiere, the network has presented us with a trailer for the television event that lives up to our expectations and then some.
In the short preview, we get to see a side of Mariah that we've only gotten short glimpses of in the past (like that infamous episode of MTV Cribs). We see many of Mariah's diva antics, including her wearing shades while under fluorescent lights — apparently it's one of her rules — and reminding everyone that her upcoming wedding is "the most important event ever." But we also get hints of a more vulnerable Mariah, like a moment were she says that she doesn't think anyone really knows anything about her. If nothing else, this damn sure won't be boring.
