The sun was high in the sky over Atlanta on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, but all the heat was being generated onstage at the 2nd Annual ATL Soul Life Music Festival. After Syleena Johnson warmed things up, Anthony David was next in line to turn up and the hometown crowd was ready for him. Kicking off his performance with his hit song "Words," he sang the duet solo but soon surprised everyone when he brought out Algebra Blessett to sing their duet "4evermore" together. They even dug in the crates and took it back in the day with a little of Keith Sweat's "Make It Last Forever" in the mix.

Anthony brought us to current day by singing two new songs, "Beautiful Problem" and "Out of My League," before singing a couple of '80s pop covers (Level 42's "Something About You," Tears For Fears' "Everybody Wants To Rule the World") and putting a soulful spin on both. David ended his set with his slinky slow jam "Cold Turkey" that left many watching him hot and bothered -- and not because of the rising temperatures.
