As we approach the dog days of summer, we could all use a moment of cool, quiet calm. Thankfully, folksy jazz singer Norah Jones has chosen this time to return to us. The singer-songwriter, whom we last heard from on 2012's Little Broken Hearts, is coming full circle with her upcoming album Day Breaks. That's because Norah composed the entire album on piano, which she hasn't done since her lauded 2002 debut Come Away With Me. The return to that sound is evident with the set's lead single and video "Carry On."

"Carry On" finds Norah singing quietly alongside a lush piano and organ arrangement. The song, about moving forward despite all of life's little quibbles and details, is a soothing meditation that can apply to any situation that comes along. For the song's moving video, however, Norah focuses on the love between an elderly black couple. As Nora plays the keys, we see the couple at home among pictures, mementos and bric-a-brac that would mean nothing to anyone else but mean the world to them. The couple is in the kitchen cooking up a meal side-by-side, stopping occasionally to dance along to the beautiful music soundtracking their evening. Their easygoing love, which doesn't need a single word to be spoken for the audience to feel, will have you in your feelings and setting up #RelationshipGoals for sure. And as the song comes to a close and Norah smiles, the couple continues on and you know that their love has always and will always be just like this.

Day Breaks, which will feature the legendary Wayne ShorterLonnie Smith and Brian Blade, as well as covers of songs by Neil YoungHorace Silver and Duke Ellington, will arrive in stores on October 7th. Until then, tuck into the sentimental video for "Carry On" below.
