Watch Kelly Rowland Dance & Go 'Dumb'

Though it seems that Kelly Rowland has been here, there and everywhere in the past year, we haven't really heard from Kelly much via the medium that we first came to know her: Her music. The only musical offering we got from her this year was the promo single she did for Seagram's Escapes, "Gimme Love," and before that was her buzz single "Dumb." But perhaps we might be getting some new Kelly sooner rather than later, as the songstress has just given us a brand new video for "Dumb."

To be honest, we weren't big fans of "Dumb" when we first heard it, mainly because we felt its by-the-numbers beat did little to compliment her dynamic voice. However, pairing the song with this video concept has us possibly singing a different tune. The clip, which is directed by her friend and longtime collaborator Frank Gatson, Jr., finds Kelly and dance partner Trevor Jackson showing off a few moves vaudevillian style on an empty stage. While the clip might lack the regular music video props and flash, the twosome move so well, they're really not missed. The two, clad in matching black-and-white outfits, move and shake with the best of them, making it difficult to take your eyes of of them as they glide across the stage like they're names were Fred and Ginger.

Kelly has continued to remain pretty mum about details of her fifth album outside of the occasional mention that she's in the studio. Hopefully this video, which you can watch below, is the first step to welcome us into her new era.
