Two days post-election and much of the world is still reeling from the shock of the new President Elect. Protests have sprung up across the United States and stories of hate crimes have already begun to proliferate social media. As we settle into this new and uncertain reality, music continues to serve as a healing tool. Singer Ledisi delivers some striking visuals for her timely single, "I Can't Breathe."

In the video, which she first began teasing about on Instagram last month, she presents a simple, yet stark snapshot of what many have been feeling. As they stare solemnly into the camera, Ledisi and several others take viewers through a full range of emotions including rage, fear and pain. She's joined by actor Ernest Lee Thomas, Shanice Wilson and her husband Flex Alexander, singer Major and others in this poignant and, at times, painful video. As Ledisi sings about the anguish we all are feeling, the video's subjects break down. Raw and guttural, they cry out and sob, looking determined and broken at the same time. Even through the toughness, it's hard to look away, providing a certain comfort to see that you are not alone in your pain.

Directed by Ron T. Young, the stark visuals are a perfect fit for the powerful song. Check out the video below and for more music to help you sort through these tense times, be sure to revisit our Movement Music playlist.
