If there's one thing this year will be remembered for, it'll be the hard losses felt throughout the music industry. Unfortunately included in that number is the soul firebrand Sharon Jones. The singer lost her long battle with pancreatic cancer last month, leaving behind a legacy of amazing artistry and fiery stage shows that will be remembered for generations to come. But this holiday, we're unwrapping one last gift from the singer and her loyal band The Dap-Kings with the video for "Please Come Home For Christmas."

The song, lifted from their Christmas album It's A Holiday Party!, is a cover of the bluesy holiday staple first released by Charles Brown back in 1960. For the video, the group keeps it old school with stop-motion claymation telling the story of a lonely man dreaming of spending the holidays with his sugar plum. As he takes the time to send a very special holiday card, he witnesses all the town's lovers enjoying the special occasion together as Sharon serenades him with the heartbreaking number. However, when he returns home, he's greeted with a special surprise as his baby's come home and Sharon and the boys are there to welcome him back.

While we'll surely be missing Sharon this and many more Christmases to come, this gives her fans a bit of comfort as the holiday season continues on and 2016 comes to a close.
