10.4 ROG Can Do No 'Wrong' With This Anderson .Paak Refix

Fairly underground producer 10.4 ROG just laced Anderson .Paak's single "Am I Wrong" with a new musical outfit. The original track, with its dance-inducing instrumentals and infectious percussion, has been one of our favorite grooves for a while and always presents the perfect opportunity to showcase .Paak's drum skills.

In a bit of perfect timing and a cool way to celebrate the one-year anniversary of .Paak's Malibu, 10.4 ROG's slick new track stays close to the original but strips it of its upbeat percussion and adds more jazz and bass. If you're familiar with any of 10.4 ROG's previous work, you'll know he's a fan of funky bass lines and that's exactly what you get the minute you press play. The refix is also missing ScHoolboy Q's verse. However, .Paak still gets an assist from unique instrumentals, making the refix an easy listen.

The low-key producer's last project, The Vibe Continuum, was released July 2015, but you can catch 10.4 ROG hanging out on "Sidewalking," a track from Pomo's 2016 compilation, Tempo Dreams Vol. 4, released last March. You can also stalk 10.4 ROG on Bandcamp, SoundCloud and Twitter while we wait for more tracks from the Seattle-based producer to be revealed. Until then, check out his flip of Anderson .Paak's "Am I Wrong" right here.
