Ro James Takes Us To The Desert For Some 'Holy Water'

After taking 2016 by storm with his hit single "Permission," Ro James is hoping to level up with a GRAMMY win this weekend for Best R&B Performance for that very song. Competition is stiff in that category, but just in case he doesn't bring home the prize, Ro is already on to the next with the release of a new set of visuals for the single "Holy Water."

Taken from his widely acclaimed debut album ELDORADO, "Holy Water" finds Ro reminiscing about his lady's love and reminding himself not to lose his soul as he navigates the world.  For the visual, Ro and his lover are posted up in a mobile home in a desert locale. He's seen singing either perched on the roof or walking in the middle of nowhere surrounded by tumbleweeds and a mountain range in the distance while decked out in a fur coat. Ro wears far less clothes when he's with his woman in a few intimate scenes between them. There's tension, there's drama, there's a knife, there's a shovel -- there's a lot going on between the couple who find an unlikely place to lay their burdens down at the video's end.

If the "Holy Water" video isn't enough to satisfy your Ro James jones, catch him on his first headlining tour now. The XIX Tour runs through mid-March and will feature supporting acts such as St. Beauty and Kevin Ross.
