DMX Gets Popped For Tax Fraud
The Ruff Ryders might be about to embark on a reunion tour, but they might have to do it without DMX. The always-troubled rapper has been arrested for tax fraud, according to Billboard. What's worse, he's also said to owe $1.7 million in back taxes. Sweet baby Jesus! X was picked up on the charges on Thursday after surrendering to law enforcement agents in New York and will appear in Manhattan federal court today (July 14th). According to the report, he'll face 14 charges, including "“one count of corruptly endeavoring to obstruct and impede the due administration of Internal Revenue Laws, one count of evasion of payment of income taxes, six counts of evasion of assessment of income tax liability, and six counts of failure to file a U.S. individual income tax return."
