ubiquita.jpg
No, these aren't video vixens you see, but they are so much more. The lovely lady DJ's of Ubiquita NYC will be inciting the crowd to tear up the dancefloor tonight at NYC's Midway club. Ubiquita NYC, composed of DJ's Moni, Selly, and Reborn (from left to right) with new addition DJ shErock (not pictured), have been heating up the worldwide DJ scene since 2000. Founded 8 years ago with the aforementioned DJ's, plus Kim Knox and DeShawn Maxwell, Ubiquita NYC have performed with the likes of John Legend, N'dea Davenport, Massive Attack, Goapele, DJ Spinna, and DJ Qool Marv just to name a few. In honor of the eagerly anticipated Winter Music Conference, Ubiquita will be hosting this pre-WMC event. For those who have been to a Ubiquita NYC jam, you know to expect the grown and the sexy. And most of all expect the heat, as all your favorite nu-jazz, soul, hip hop, house, reggae, break beat, and whatever else moves them will be spun.

More info after the jump.

Announcing The Official SoulBounce Events Calendar

We were going to keep this under wraps until next year, but we thought, why not? I am pleased to announce the launch of the Official SoulBounce Events Calendar! This is a public Google calendar that will enable us to keep you up to date on releases, shows, parties and any other events of interest to the SoulBounce audience!

The agenda is sparse right now. We plan to do an official integration of the calendar when the redesign happens, but we'll actively update it starting now. If you're a promoter or a reader that wants to let us in on a can't-miss event, email us at calendar@soulbounce.com! All we ask is that you make us aware of your event at least a week in advance.
