This January will be hotter than usual in Jamaica at the
2008 Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival. The lineup for the upcoming music festival is on point with
Jill Scott,
Anita Baker and
Diana Ross headlining the annual event. Other artists scheduled to appear include the man who sang the '80s anthem for Caribbean queens everywhere,
Billy Ocean; reggae superstar
Beres Hammond; and South African music legend
Hugh Masakela.
The three-day music festival runs from January 24-26, 2008 in Montego Bay and it is dubbed as the "Caribbean's biggest party." In January the event will celebrate 22 years, and it is expected to draw over 40,000 music lovers from around the world to Jamaica.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to call Air Jamaica and book my ticket!
