Sunday night the Kennedy Center Honors wasn't the only event bringing the beautiful people out. Across the country, the inaugural Movies Rock jumped off at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood to showcase the marriage between movies and music. The event brought out some of today's most popular music stars, including Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, LL Cool J, Busta Rhmyes and Will.I.Am, to sing classic movie songs. Two of the night's performers, Mary J. Blige and Beyoncé, were spotted on the green carpet strutting their stuff in two gorgeous emerald gowns. But despite Beyoncé's dress being the talk of the evening and so tight that you could see her personality, I must bow down to the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul in this Soul Fashioned Face-Off. MJB is the epitome of class and sophistication in her dress. She gets two snaps up for this '70s vintage soul look.
Mary J. will be singing "As Time Goes By" with Legend, and Bey will be taking us "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" during the telecast. Set your DVR's or tune in to Movies Rock on CBS this Friday, December 7th at 9 PM EST/8 PM CST.
