Too bad for Queen Latifah that the year that she wins a Golden Globe that the glitzy awards ceremony was scrapped due to the ongoing writer's strike and replaced with an anticlimactic news conference. We didn't get a chance to see Dana get all gussied up for the red carpet and make a flustered yet witty acceptance speech for winning Best Performance by an Actress In A Mini-series or Motion Picture Made for Television for her role in the HBO film, Life Support. Congrats to Latifah on her first Golden Globe win after only her second nomination. Give it to 'em, Queen!
